Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
It's one thing to see interesting wildlife. For me, it's something else to see interesting wildlife behavior. Here, a curious little Alamosaurus decides to come in for a up-close look at me capturing the scene.
This image was captured at Moab Giants, an outdoor dinosaur museum near Moab, Utah.
How I Got The Shot
In a fun agreement with Moab Giants, I got to walk their outdoor dinosaur trail under glowing Milky Way stars - together with training partner Darren White. With some lighting already providing some illumination, we just added a little more with an off-camera led light panel and when needed, a hand-held flashlight.
Fortunately, my subjects stayed still long enough for me to adjust my position enough to get the closest dinosaur and the stars in focus. I'm also fortunate that my subjects were either well-fed or they're herbivores.
