Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
On this workshop event, we decided to take advantage of our walkie-talkies to stay in communication while we split up our group. Darren stayed behind at Landscape Arch with some of our group while I took the rest to Pine Tree Arch for a second stop in the area. Our group was very excited to do more of the super long-exposure captures we'd taught them about so I was happy to give them another great place to try it out.
With the Milky Way arcing above, the scene really came alive when we gave the sky an hour to rotate above us. This 60 minute exposure was captured at Pine Tree Arch in Arches National Park, Utah.
How I Got The Shot
This single exposure image was captured with a fisheye lens, an LED light panel, and 30 minutes of exposure time.
