Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Airy's clock mechanism. These three diagrams, showing a clock escapement, were drawn by the English mathematician and astronomer George Biddell Airy (1801-1892). An escapement is a device which converts rotational motion into an oscillating or back and forth motion. Here, this allows the hands of a clock to advance at a steady controlled rate. Published in Transactions of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, Volume 3. This journal was published from 1822 to 1928.
