Last light of the day hits the Arapahoe Basin Ski & Snowboard Area as seen from a vantage point high up on the Continental Divide. This image was taken after another visit to a peak named Cupid (13,117 feet). This time I hiked up in to the wicked wind with friend, Wayne Boland - starting at the top of Loveland Pass, Colorado.

Having skied (and monoskied, teleskied, and snowboarded) at A-Basin many, many times in my younger days, I appreciated playing at what was at the time, the highest lift-served access in North America. So having the chance last night to look down on it all felt a bit strange to me. It sure is a fun mountain and I really liked this perspective.

Last light hits East Wall while Pallivicini, Cornice Run and others stand out in the image and in my memory. In the distance on the right, runs from Breckenridge's peaks 9 & 10 also appear.
